Not at all. You’ll find that our classes for beginners are the perfect way to build up your overall fitness level regardless of your physical condition. Good luck!
Absolutely! We encourage prospective students and parents to come in, watch a class and meet the team. Just call ahead or drop us an email to let us know you’re coming.
Not at all. We have students of all ages — from preschoolers to adults in their 50s and beyond. It’s never too late to start, and our instructors will tailor training to your level.
Safety is our top priority. While martial arts is a physical activity, we train in a controlled and supervised environment. Injuries are rare and all students are taught how to train safely from day one.
There are no specific health requirements to get started. If you have any pre-existing conditions, we recommend speaking with your doctor first and letting your instructor know so we can modify training as needed.
Progress depends on how often you train and your personal goals. Most students notice real improvements in fitness, technique and confidence within the first few months. Belt progression typically takes 3–6 months per level.
As with any physical activity there is always some risk, but we minimise this through structured warm-ups, quality instruction and a culture of respect on the mat. Student safety is always our first priority.
We run classes Monday to Thursday from 2pm–7pm and Saturday from 9am–2pm. Check our Class Schedule page for the full timetable.
We recommend training at least twice a week to see consistent progress. Many of our students train 3–4 times a week and find it fits easily into their routine once they get started.
Pricing varies depending on the program and membership type. Get in touch with us directly or book a free trial class to find out which program is the right fit for you.
